Elite Assistance Application

Australian athletes

Atlas Events will provide assistance to leading Australian marathon runners to compete in the Marathon.

Assistance is guaranteed where times have been set within 18-months of the event.

The following two assistance levels are available:

Male sub 2:20 & Female sub 2:45

Free race entry
Up to $500 AUD travel money (for athletes living more than 150kms from the event precinct)*
Access to elite athlete area on race day (pre- and post-race)

Male sub 2:25 & Female sub 2:50

Free race entry
Up to $300 AUD travel money (for athletes living more than 150kms from the event precinct)*
Access to elite athlete area on race day (pre- and post-race)

Half Marathon & 10km Run

Atlas Events will provide assistance to leading Australian runners to compete in the half marathon and 10km.

Assistance is guaranteed where times have been set within 18-months of the event.

The following assistance is given:

Free race entry plus Up to $300 AUD travel money (for athletes living more than 150kms from the event precinct) for sub 30 min (men) and sub 34 min (women) results for 10km and sub 1:05:00 (men) and sub 1:14:00 (women) results for the half marathon.

International athletes

International marathon and half marathon runners from outside Australia will be considered on a case by case basis. Travel assistance and accommodation are available for a limited number of marathon runners where times have been set within 18 months of the event with sub 2:18 (men) and sub 2:40 (women) and half marathon runners with sub 1:03 (men) and sub 1:11 (women)
