Event Expo

In 2025, the Sunshine Coast Marathon Festival will welcome thousands of local, and interstate competitors and their supporters to its expo within the event precinct. 

Each year the expo has grown in size and scope, offering participants and spectators an opportunity to stock up on the latest in all things fitness, health, apparel, nutrition, and supplements at expo-only special prices. 

Location:

Event precinct area, Buhk Family Park, Alexandra Headland 

Friday 1 August, 10:00am – 5:00pm

Saturday 2 August, 9:00am – 4:00pm

Sunday 3 August, 6:30am –12:30pm 

Admission to the Expo is free. Race day will attract 10,000 runners across five events on Sunday.

Across the three days the Expo is estimated to attract visitors of more than 15,000 participants, friends, family, and sporting enthusiasts. 

Event fast facts: 

• 52 percent of participants are women 
• The average age of participants is 35 
• The oldest participant is 84 
• The youngest is 4
